El uso y abuso de sustancias es un dilema cercano al origen del ser humano, con un interés nacional y mundial. En referencia al abuso de drogas, especialmente las benzodiazepinas, actúan fundamentalmente sobre el sistema nervioso central, entre las mujeres su uso problemático se ha incrementado (Naciones Unidas, 2022),inclusive durante el embarazo (Pascale, 2015).Esta etapa trasciende la individualidad afectando a la madre, el hijo, la familia y la sociedad (Ojeda et al., 2011). En el Perú las investigaciones sobre el tema no pasan los 5 estudios en los últimos 5 años. Entendiendo este problema y sus implicaciones nos proponemos investigar los “Factores asociados a la adherencia al tratamiento en una gestante consumidora de benzodiacepina y alcohol que acude a emergencias del Hospital Regional Manuel Núñez Butrón de Puno” con el objetivo de determinar cuáles son los “factores asociados a la adherencia al tratamiento y lograr la rehabilitación”. Los hallazgos denotan como mayor influencia en la adherencia al tratamiento la relación paciente – terapeuta, la motivación, las expectativas reales, la comprensión, el reforzamiento positivo, la accesibilidad al tratamiento y el apoyo son determinantes en la adherencia al tratamiento. El componente espiritual como un proceso terapéutico cobra importancia al proporcionar adherencia al tratamiento, desarrollando la Fe y un entorno social que incide directamente sobre la depresión y la ansiedad.The use and abuse of substances is a dilemma close to the origin of the human being, with national and global interest. In reference to drug abuse, especially benzodiazepines, they act primarily on the central nervous system; among women, their problematic use has increased (United Nations, 2022), including during pregnancy (Pascale, 2015). This stage transcends individuality, affecting the mother, the child, the family and society (Ojeda et al., 2011). In Peru, research on the subject does not pass the 5 studies in the last 5 years. These factors damage and stop this process with psychological, physical or both conditions. Understanding this problem and its implications, we propose to investigate the “Factors associated with adherence to treatment in a pregnant woman who consumes benzodiazepines and alcohol who comes to the emergency room at the Manuel Núñez Butrón Regional Hospital in Puno” with the objective of determining the “factors associated with adherence to treatment and achieving rehabilitation”. The findings indicate that the spiritual area, family support, risk education, accessibility and credibility in health facilities are the greatest influence on treatment adherence. In this sense, our conclusions determined that a comprehensive orientation and approach are essential in adherence to treatment.
