El objetivo de la presente investigación es determinar la conexión entre las características socio demográficas y el autocuidado en la prevención de cáncer de piel en escolares de la Institución Educativa “Gonzáles Vigil”, Huanta 2024”. Metodología: se realizará de tipo descriptivo, no experimental, correlacional y de corte transversal, la técnica es la encuesta, como instrumento será el cuestionario adaptado de fitzpatrick que para determinar el fototipo de piel, también el cuestionario para evaluar autocuidado en prevención de cáncer de piel en la población escolar. la información será tratada mediante el programa estadístico SPSS, se realizará la codificación de los distintos ítems, y se presentarán los hallazgos en forma de gráficos y/o tablas. El estudio estadístico se llevará a cabo utilizando pruebas de correlación. Consideraciones éticas: los participantes deberán suscribir un consentimiento informado para autorizar su intervención en el estudio.The objective of this research is to determine the connection between sociodemographic characteristics and self-care in the prevention of skin cancer in schoolchildren of the Educational Institution "Gonzáles Vigil", Huanta 2024".
