El electrocardiograma se utiliza en el servicio de emergencia para clasificar y evaluar a los pacientes con sospecha de afecciones cardiacas, al ser procedimiento rápido, indoloro y no invasivo; la responsable en llevar a cabo el procedimiento es la enfermera. Por lo tanto, el estudio tiene el propósito de establecer la relación entre el conocimiento y la práctica de las enfermeras en la toma del electrocardiograma del servicio de emergencia de un hospital nacional- 2024. La metodología es de diseño descriptivo-no experimental-correlacional-cuantitativo; y el grupo de estudio estará conformado por 36 enfermeras del servicio de emergencia que cumplan con los criterios de inclusión. Con respecto a los instrumentos de investigación, se utilizará un cuestionario de 20 ítems para evaluar el nivel de conocimientos y para las prácticas una lista de chequeo antes, durante y después de la toma del electrocardiograma.
