Abstract:
Alrededor de 80% de los pacientes que inician hemodiálisis en nuestro país lo realizan por medio de un catéter venoso central, el cual a la larga presenta complicaciones. La principal complicación la constituye bacteriemia asociado a catéter que es la segunda causa de muerte en pacientes en hemodiálisis portadores de un catéter venoso central. Objetivo: Determinar los factores asociados a bacteriemia en pacientes de hemodiálisis portadores de Catéter Venoso Central En Hospital Alberto Leopoldo Barthon 2018. Material y Método: Estudio cuantitativo descriptivo, la recolección de información se dará en base de un instrumento y recolección de datos obtenidos de las historias clínicas de los casos confirmados documentados en el año 2018. Para la recolección de información, se coordinará la autorización del hospital y el responsable del Servicio de Nefrología. Los datos obtenidos serán tabulados y procesados bajo un sistema computarizado empleando el programa Excel, que serán representados en gráficos porcentuales.
