En los últimos años, en el Perú se han desarrollado esfuerzos por mejorar la calidad y la equidad de la educación intercultural bilingüe (EIB); sin embargo, aún se evidencian serias deficiencias en el logro de aprendizajes. Las investigaciones de los estudiantes de pregrado de las carreras EIB son una fuente de conocimiento importante a considerar para la mejora de este fenómeno. Este estudio tuvo como principal objetivo formular un estado del arte de la producción del conocimiento en las tesis de licenciatura de los egresados de las carreras en EIB de instituciones licenciadas en el Perú. Se realizó desde un enfoque mixto, integrando métodos y procedimientos cualitativos y cuantitativos para la recolección y el análisis de la información, pues se buscó obtener un acercamiento más completo al objeto de estudio. La muestra estuvo conformada por doscientas setenta y siete tesis registradas en repositorios institucionales y de acceso abierto. Las conclusiones principales del estudio son las siguientes: las investigaciones se mueven en la dicotomía de los enfoques cualitativo y cuantitativo, y los temas elegidos reflejan preocupación por el logro de aprendizajes, el conocimiento y la enseñanza de la lengua originaria y la cultura, además de la formación del docente EIB. Las investigaciones presentan valiosos aportes sobre la vivencia cotidiana de las escuelas, la cultura en la que se insertan y cómo afrontan las decisiones políticas.In recent years in Peru, efforts have been made to improve the quality and equity of intercultural bilingual education, however, serious deficiencies in the achievement of learning are still evident. The research of undergraduate students of EIB careers is an important source of knowledge to consider for the improvement of this phenomenon. The main objective of the study was to formulate a state of the art of knowledge production in the undergraduate theses of graduates of EIB careers from licensed institutions in Peru. It was carried out from a mixed approach, integrating qualitative and quantitative methods and procedures for the collection and analysis of information seeking to obtain a more complete approach to the object of study. The sample consisted of two hundred and seventy-seven theses registered in institutional and open access repositories. The main conclusions reached are: the investigations move in the dichotomy of qualitative and quantitative approaches, and the chosen topics reflect concern for the achievement of learning, knowledge and teaching of the native language and culture and training of the EIB teacher. The investigations present valuable contributions on the daily experience of schools, the culture in which they are inserted and how they face political decisions.
